Who operates this service
One Network Solutions Limited operates this Screen Time service under the One Network brand. This policy describes Screen Time. Other One Network apps have separate features, permissions, subscriptions and data access.
Privacy and customer support: apps@onenetwork.solutions. Company website: www.onenetwork.solutions.
Information used by Screen Time
- Parent account: account email, authentication identifiers, family membership, notification registrations and subscription status.
- Child profiles: the name you choose and an optional profile photo selected using the phone’s picker.
- Authorized device reports: Android model/version, app version, installed-app package names and labels, app-usage totals, recent app/activity reports, screen state, permission/protection status and last synchronization time.
- Family controls and communication: limits, schedules, allowed/blocked apps, parent approvals, family messages, extra-time requests, safety help/events and rule history.
- Payments: plan, purchase/subscription references, payment status and necessary accounting records. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored in family records.
- Promotions and operations: parent promotion impressions/clicks and pseudonymous attribution identifiers, plus information needed to operate and secure the service. A promotion website receives its own request when a parent opens it.
Screen Time does not request GPS location, microphone, contacts, SMS or call-log permissions. This policy does not describe Location Tracker.
Why this information is used
We use authorized records to show usage reports, apply family screen-time rules, synchronize paired devices, deliver family communication and safety alerts, provide requested AI assistance, enforce plan allowances, support payments and investigate service issues. Device reports are evidence of what the phone reported; missing alerts or an AI answer do not establish that a child is safe.
Visible child-device monitoring and website protection
The child setup explains monitoring and requests the relevant Android permissions. Active monitoring/protection uses an identifiable app icon and ongoing notification, subject to Android’s notification controls.
Optional parent-approved website protection uses Android’s VPN slot for DNS filtering. Domain queries are sent to Cloudflare for Families over encrypted DNS. If separately enabled, the optional Accessibility-based browser guard reads supported browser address bars, reduces an address to its hostname locally and checks it with Cloudflare. It does not capture screenshots, page contents, search terms or private messages. Filtering has limitations; apps with their own encrypted DNS, cached addresses, direct IPs or unsupported browsers can bypass it.
AI assistance
AI assistance is optional and role-scoped. When enabled and used, questions, selected conversation context and the authorized family/device information needed for the request are sent to OpenAI to prepare the response. Protection tools provide status and aggregate counts, excluding safety-event notes and domains. Parent chat history is saved in the family account; child AI conversations remain in app memory, with temporary server request receipts used for reliability and quota enforcement.
API response storage and agent tracing are disabled in our assistant integration. This does not mean providers have no security, abuse-monitoring or operational retention. AI suggestions may be incorrect. Rules and messages proposed by AI require the relevant user review/confirmation; AI cannot silently claim a change or delivery happened.
Service providers and access
Google Firebase provides account authentication, database, cloud functions and push messaging. Cloudflare provides the control panel, selected first-party resources/promotion analytics and DNS filtering. OpenAI processes requested AI assistance. Stripe or Google Play processes purchases where that purchase method is offered. These services may process data in countries outside yours under their applicable terms and safeguards.
Access to family records is restricted to authorized family parents and the appropriately paired child device. Support/service administration uses authorized access. We do not give promotion websites a child’s usage reports or family messages to display the parent promotion cards.
Retention and deletion
Safety events are kept for 15 days, including unresolved events, then removed during daily cleanup; deletion may take up to 24 hours after the retention period. Safety permission approvals and other family records remain until removed through the relevant control or product deletion flow.
Parents may clear saved AI conversations. Settings also provides Screen Time data deletion and Screen Time account closure, requiring owner confirmation and recent password authentication. These remove the Screen Time family’s profiles/photos, reports, rules, messages, requests, alerts, safety permissions/history, parent PIN, pairing codes and saved AI conversations. Account closure also disables the product profile until the owner explicitly starts a new one.
The universal One Network login, other apps and subscriptions are not deleted or cancelled by this Screen Time-only action. Minimal identity/account links, quota and security/deletion/revocation records, payment/accounting records and a promotion-tracking suppression hash are retained for their stated purposes. Screen Time promotion engagement is removed for the owner and further tracking is suppressed for that account.
Online updated child devices lose access and clear pairing after receiving revocation. Offline or older devices may retain local copies/restrictions until they reconnect with the updated app or their Screen Time app storage is cleared. App deletion does not erase Android usage history, permissions, manually configured Private DNS, previously delivered notifications or provider backups/logs.
Request Screen Time account deletion without reinstalling the app.
Your choices and children’s privacy
Parents should explain setup to the child and use these tools only for an authorized family purpose. You can manage app permissions in Android, choose whether to enable AI and website protection, manage the family’s rules and request product account/data deletion. Changing Android permissions can prevent controls or reporting from working. Contact us to exercise access/correction/deletion rights or ask about records retained for other apps or the shared One Network identity. We verify the requester’s authority before acting on account requests.
Contact and changes
Contact apps@onenetwork.solutions for privacy, account deletion, billing support or corrections. Do not email passwords, parent PINs or payment-card details. We will update this page when practices change and provide additional notice where required.
