Turn a screen-time plan into a daily routine.

Start with the limits that suit your family. Review what’s happening, and adjust the plan as your child’s needs change.

01 / LIMITS

Daily and app limits

Set daily screen-time limits and individual app limits, choose allowed apps and use temporary pauses.

02 / ROUTINES

School and bedtime schedules

Plan device boundaries around school hours and bedtime, with rules parents can review.

03 / UNDERSTANDING

Usage reports

See daily and weekly usage reports and when the device last updated its data. Disconnected devices may report late.

04 / COMMUNICATION

Requests and messages

Receive requests for more time and exchange family messages from the paired devices.

05 / GUIDANCE

Optional AI assistance

Get plain-language explanations of authorised usage and device status from synced records. AI may be mistaken; parents confirm suggested changes.

06 / BROWSING

Optional website protection

Enable parent-approved DNS filtering and, separately, Browser Guard for supported browsers. Each requires its own setup and permissions.

Getting started

Pair the devices.
Make the plan together.

  1. Install Parental Control Screen Time from its official Google Play listing.
  2. Use the parent account to pair your child’s Android device.
  3. Review the child-device disclosures and grant the permissions needed for the features you choose.
  4. Set your limits and schedules, then review device status and synced reports.

Use only for transparent parental monitoring of your own children’s devices.

Visible monitoring, explained permissions

The app uses an identifiable icon and an ongoing notification while monitoring is active. Device connectivity, permissions and Android settings affect reporting, message delivery and rule enforcement.

How optional browsing protection works

DNS filtering uses Android’s VpnService and encrypted queries to Cloudflare for Families. Separately enabled Browser Guard uses Accessibility to check hostnames from supported browser address bars. It does not read page content or private messages.

Filtering has limits and does not make every online interaction safe. Check protection status and keep talking with your child about their online experiences.

Before you install

Your questions, answered.

Which devices does the app support?

Parental Control Screen Time is available for Android 8.0 and later. Open the Google Play listing on your device to check compatibility. An iPhone version is not listed here.

Does the child’s device need setup?

Yes. Pair the child device with the parent account, review the visible disclosures and enable the relevant permissions. Monitoring is identifiable on the child device.

Will reports and controls always update immediately?

No. Delivery, reporting and enforcement depend on permissions, connectivity, Android version and device settings. Reports show their last update time; a disconnected device can report late.

Can the AI change rules on its own?

The optional AI assistant explains available authorised records and may make mistakes. Parents review and confirm suggested changes; it does not silently change rules or establish that a child is safe.

Is this a hidden monitoring app?

No. It is intended for transparent parental monitoring of children. The app uses an identifiable icon and an ongoing notification while monitoring is active.

Where can I manage privacy and subscriptions?

Use Settings in the app to manage Screen Time data and privacy. Screen Time product-data deletion is separate from the OneNetwork account and other app data. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play. Read the Screen Time privacy policy for details.
